As many expected Ravens Jersey both wide receiver Michael Floyd and safety Harrison Anquan Boldin Jersey Smith went in the first round of the NFL Draft Thursday night in New York City. Floyd heard his name first going 13th overall to the Arizona Cardinals. Smith waited until the 29th pick when the Minnesota Vikings selected him to help improve their secondary.

It's the first time since 1994 that two or more Notre Dame players were taken in the Joe Haden Jersey first round and Floyd becomes the first Irish wide receiver chosen in round one since Tim Brown went Heath Miller Jersey #6 to the Raiders in 1988. At #13 overall Floyd also is the highest former Notre Dame player taken in the NFL Ray Lewis Jersey Draft since Bryant Young went seventh to San Francisco in 1994.

Smith will reunite with former ND teammate Kyle Rudolph in Minnesota. The Vikings also feature former Irish stars John Carlson and John Sullivan. Smith is the first ND safety taken in the first round since Jeff Burris went #27 to Buffalo in 1994.

With those two now on their way to the next level, several other former Fighting Irish will await their fate over the next two days. Running back Jonas Gray, offensive linemen Trevor Robinson and Taylor Dever, defensive lineman Ethan Johnson, linebacker Darius Fleming, cornerbacks Gary Gray and Robert Blanton, and kicker David Ruffer all could be taken at some point. Blanton is the most likely to be taken next as he is projected to be as high as Cleveland Browns Jersey a third round selection.
